The Malawi School Project: A Collective Mission
Welcome to the Malawi School Project, a collective endeavor powered by the passion and purpose of six dedicated individuals. Our alliance was formed with a singular vision: to support the growth and development of Magi Christian Academy (MCA) in the heart of Malawi. We believe that education is the keystone of development, and every child should have the opportunity to realize their full potential.
Our Roots and Reach
Magi Christian Academy, located 80km north of Lilongwe city in Dowa, is a thriving testament to what can be achieved when compassion meets action. Founded by Gideon Mwangala Mvula, a native of Malawi and a beneficiary of educational sponsorship himself, MCA is more than a school—it’s a promise of a better tomorrow.
Our Aim
At MCA, we aim to provide a comprehensive educational experience, fostering not only academic excellence but also personal growth and community service. We currently cater to 200 students with a team of 8 devoted teachers, all dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Malawian leaders.
Our Goals
The goals of the Malawi School Project are clear and ambitious. We strive to:
- Secure funding for essential infrastructure improvements.
- Enhance the quality and reach of education provided at MCA.
- Foster a sustainable environment that encourages continuous community involvement and support.
Our Immediate Objectives
We are actively working to meet urgent construction needs, including:
- Installing a water pump for the community.
- Constructing roofs for students’ toilets and baths.
- Expanding classroom spaces and resources.
